When I had a new TiVo installed, it caused my TV to randomly go into Standby about 3-4 times each day. Just suddenly happened whilst watching programs.
The only connection between TiVo and TV is the HDMI lead. Before TiVo my TV had never done this in 7 years and the TV also works perfectly on DTV Freeview.
Hiding the remote from view by the IR sensors made no difference.
Does anybody know why this should happen ?
