I'd like to upgrade my (500GB) Roamio using the 1TB drive from my soon-to-be decommissioned Premiere XL.
I have found instructions for installing a new (previously unused drive) as well as for exchanging with a drive from another Roamio, but no reference to installing a drive from a previously-used, dissimilar model. I'd appreciate any direction on what, if any, preparation (such as wiping the drive) should be performed on the Premier XL HD prior to installing in the Roamio.
