FIOS Versus Cox in Northern Virginia (NVA)?

FIOS is laying cable in my NVA neighborhood to compete with Cox. I currently have Cox cable. I have a TiVo centric household with two TiVos (HD and Premiere) and no Cox STBs. I have a Cox cable modem and my own Linksys Wireless Router. I've had a love/hate relationship over the years keeping cablecards/TiVos/Tuning Adapters synced and fully operational. Monthly reboots have become the norm. Cox has spent many hours relaying cable from main box to house and tweaking to keep it all operating.

From a TiVo users perspective are there advantages or users opinions on switching to FIOS from Cox in the NVA area? I don't need FIOS STBs/DVRs or FIOS routers; just cablecards and a cable modem.
