Northern Exposure Rewatch - Any fans?

I have the DVDs of the first couple of seasons and decided to sit and watch a few episodes. I haven't watch in years. I have really forgotten how well written this show was (hard to imagine that Joshua Brand is the same person who is with The Americans, also well written, as the show styles are completely different). The characters are so different and so well defined. Might have to sit and rewatch. I do remember though that the series kind of jumped the shark after Rob Morrow left.
