My first TiVo was a series 1 and I've had at least one TiVo ever since. I currently have two early model TiVo Premieres with lifetime service and upgraded hard drives running on the 802.11n adapters.
The price was too good, so I splurged today. I bought two of the refurbished Roamios with lifetime service, enough MoCa adapters to connect them and my existing Premieres, a Stream, and a Mini. That gives me 12 tuners for an apartment with two people which is way more than I need. I'll probably connect one of the Premieres to my HDTV antenna as an experiment to see if I can cut the cable.
