Having fits getting Charter to properly activate a Cisco TA...

So I got a cablecard and TA(my second... the first one was set up in bout 10 minutes with no issues). The lady seemed to have issues setting up my cablecard, but after about 20 minutes, seemed to have got it right as all the channels, except the SDV ones were coming through.

Now here is where the fun starts. I plug in my TA and wait and wait and it just keeps blinking. Sometime after a reboot, it does the dreaded 8 blinks, which tells me it's not authorized. However, I cannot get Charter to get it to authorize.

When I look the TA diagnostics in the Roamio, everything matches great with what is stated they should be in this thread...

except...

PowerKEY Information
Received
EMMs: (should not be zero)

SWITCHED DIGITAL VIDEO
CLIENT
Authorized: Yes
Service Gp: (value)
RF Ip Addr: (Should list an address like 10.40.32.45)
SERVER
Status: Ready

The EMMs is still 0 and the CLIENT Authorized is NO and Server Status is Pending.

I have called Charter 4 times and every time, they send out hits and say that the TA should be authorized but it's not.

I am going back to the office tomorrow and exchanging not only the TA but also the Cablecard, as I have a feeling the Cable Card was not set up right. I figured if I return both, I can start from scratch and hopefully get it set up right.

Any thoughts?

Thanks.
