How does the TiVo Roamio Plus/Pro/Mini handle color space?

I noticed my Roamio Plus was outputting RGB Limited over HDMI, but my Mini was outputting YCbCr (also over HDMI to a different TV).

Why wouldn't they use the same color space?

Does the Roamio attempt to detect the correct color space on boot up or at some point? Has anybody ever found a way to select or manipulate the setting?

I have a Pioneer TV which when set to Auto detect will get it wrong, so, it becomes a hassle supporting different color spaces on the same input (it's connected to an HDMI switch).
