Roamio Basic boxes don't want to acquire channels.

I received 2 TiVo Roamio Basic boxes yesterday and I tried to watch TV with these and was unable to. I get the message "Please wait... Acquiring Channel Information" and it stays stuck. The "Loading..." section stays at either 72% or 89%. If I this screen message on, the "Error Acquiring Channels" screen comes out. I ran the guided setup several times and still get the same thing.

I activated the 2 CCs online. Then I called customer service to get the CCs activated and manually validated and the CSR was unable to do so and scheduled a truck roll for Monday. After the call I tried the automated activation line several times. The automated line either starts doing the activation process, or tells me that it will be finished in 15 minutes. The automated line also talks about a clock on the box, so I think it might be trying to activate the CCs inside my 2 Quantum TV VMS1100 boxes and not the ones inside the Roamio boxes.

Do you think it's possible to still activate these 2 CCs over the phone? Should I wait for the truck roll, or could I just exchange the 2 CCs at a local Verizon FiOS store?

Do you think the issue I am having is an activation gone wrong, or could both of my CCs be damaged, or maybe even the Roamio boxes?

I wonder if this issue will be resolved by the time my Mini boxes get here on Wednesday of next week?

One thing I will say is that the menus are ridiculously fast! I have never had such a fast box ever. I hope it works the same way when the HDD is around 50% full, or more. These are faster than my Quantum TV boxes, even though the Roamio boxes came out earlier.
