Hello, I am looking for some help with audio decoding issues that only occur on certain channels.
To give some background - I am using a Roamio Pro with Verizon FiOS TV service and I use kmttg 1.1q on OS X 10.10.5 to archive some of my shows. I have been doing this successfully for some time, but starting in late May 2015 I noticed that shows from a particular channel (The Golf Channel in this case) were decoded improperly and were missing the center audio. The audio from the back channels is still audible (in case of the Golf channel you can hear some promo background music) but all the dialog from the center is missing. I made sure that this didnt occur during a handbrake encode by playing back the mpeg files that were output by the tivodecode process directly. This does NOT occur on other channels, so far I only encountered this with the Golf channel.
I am stumped as to what has changed in May - obviously tivodecode hasnt changed in a long time, but is it a recent change on the Tivo side or something caused by some recent OS X system updates. Does anyone have have any pointers on how to fix this? I can certainly provide a sample .Tivo file if there is some interest in debugging the issue.
Any pointers would be greatly appreciated!
