Each time one of my now 3 mini's arrived I had to get C/S at tivo to get each one to connect to the moca network.
Once again yesterday, this last mini in my kitchen would not connect. I figured out that it was the splitter that time warner was using to give me the leg to the kitchen coax line they ran when I moved in.
The first mini that would not connect last week the rep had me disconnect the low Mhz splitter I had behind the tv to switch to the analog channels. No splitter and it connected right away.
This rep had told me they preferred at least a 2000 Mhz splitter (so I ordered 4 off ebay and changed them for my 3 tv's.
The 2nd mini was a software update glitch.
This last mini in kitchen would not connect because TW had put a 5-1000 Mhz splitter in their outside box which they split to the new leg they ran to the kitchen. I realized that this was probably the issue and swapped it for the spare 4th ebay splitter I bought. Connected first try!
For $3.98 the red splitter shown in the box from ebay are 2050 Mhz that I swapped the TW splitter for and are cheap insurance for a good signal (I just ordered a few more spares):

This was the TW 1000 Mhz in the box I removed:
This is my box with the new ebay 2150 Mhz splitter and the POE filter installed:
Hope this helps others using lower capacity splitters and getting signal issues!
