My TiVo Desktop Plus is running very (very) slow. At times (previously) I would see the words "(Not Responding)". This has been happening over time, but over the last month (July 2015) it has been getting too slow (to even allow format (mobile device) conversions).
I've tried several cleanup and refresh steps of the TiVoDesktop and to my PC and so far nothing has gotten back to what it was just a month ago.
I've deleted (uninstalled / tivoCleaner) TiVoDesktop Plus. I've also put on an older version 2.8.1 still no help.
I have a Dell i570 PC that about 5 years old, running Windows 7.
AMD Athlon(tm) II X4 630 Processor 2.80 GHZ, 6 GB Ram, 64-bit OS
I've tried reloading Windows 7, keeping the old files. After backing up everything, and starting with a refreshed (reformatted?) hard drive and still the same slowness. I've now even have Windows 10, and still have the problem!
Does anyone have an answer as to why TiVo Desktop's window/program is super slow (to refresh screen, respond to menu clicks, highlighting items, processing items)?
