Tivo Xfinity On Demand app would not load (SOLVED!)

My symptom was the Xfinity On Demand App would not load; Tivo Premeire XL4 gave me the "Please Wait..." message for 15 minutes and then would time out. Getting a Cisco hardware version 801 cablecard solved my VOD problem (my old cable card was Scientific Atlanta h/w version 800). Luckily my installer had one on the truck. You can verify your cablecard hardware version on the SA CableCARD Diag Screen in the CableCARD Menu on Tivo. On the third line look for "H/W Model: 801"
