I have TimeWarner in Southern California and I like my Series 2 Tivo. But they are going all digital so I needed the adapter (my TV is also not digital, but I don't think that matters).
They set it up so that the adapter feeds into the Tivo. I can record any one channel that the adapter is on, as long as the Tivo is on channel 3, but of course that is not how a Tivo is supposed to work. I'm hardly taking full advantage of the Tivo that way.
Is there any way I can actually have my old Tivo work as it's supposed to work with Time Warner once they go all digital?
