I'm actually starting to like this one. The first ep was kind of lame but it got better last week and this week it was pretty darn good. The balloon thing was very clever; the relationship between Bruce and Alfred is getting more interesting; various subplots seem to be moving forward. I also like the way the writers connect events from past eps to current events, such as the Ballonman's referencing the kidnapped kids from last week. This makes it feel as if the city has an actual, ongoing life from episode to episode.
It's not great tv by any means but it could be a lot of fun. There are a lot of possibilities with the characters and stories.
BTW - I've noticed when some members post individual episode threads such as this one they include something like "Spoilers OK" in the title. Is that necessary? Isn't that pretty much a given for a specific ep that's already aired? (Not being sarcastic, just want to be sure to follow forum protocol.)
