Last week I asked my seller how to set up to record and watch another channel. He said I couldn't as I had a single tuner unit. I'd need a dual tuner setup. Dejected, I was still happy I bought it.
Last night I read a user guide that stated I could do this but needed an RF splitter. This was an official TiVo user manual online.
Is this correct? It so, is there a specific type I need? Any connective wiring needed?
There was a diagram on setting it up which I can give to my tech guy. Before I ask for his help, I just want to be sure.
